As the title says my 2.0 Tdi is kicking out big clouds of black smoke when accelerating, this happens in every gear. There is no smoke when revving the engine whilst in neutral, only when in gear.

I know it's normal for a small bit of unburnt fuel to make abit of smoke when accelerating hard, but these are huge clouds of thick black smoke everytime the revs go above 2,000 rpm.

 

Does your Tdi has been installed with cat? Usually black smoke at WOT is common on cars with a test pipe.
