I purchased an A3 in early May with DSG, OpenSky Premium Pkg and Cold Weather Pkg. I noticed that some times the open sky vibrates at speed of 80mph+ The noise is also quite loud. Problem is it doesn't happen every time, it might depend on wind direction and at the Audi dealer they will not do anithing about it unless they can reproduce it. Is anybody else experiencing this problem?

it's a safety feature... it's basically telling you that you're going too fast!!!

 

Hi i have same problem but at low speed - but with a look at manual found that there is a 'comfort' position on the selector (it is marked on the dial and with a 'resistance' ) so it is slightly shut - which stops the vibration. Also i have found that opening the windows stops it too.

Hope this stops your noise.
