2.0t fuel pressure problem
I think I have fixed the problem but have caused another.
I installed a new high pressure fuel pump and it drive as good as new, but the check engine light was still on.
I went to the auto parts store to clear the codes and on my way there, I notices that it was idleing roughly and smelling like gas more than it should. When I got there I popped the hood while it was running and saw that I forgot to tighten the low pressure line to the high pressure fuel pump and it was spraying fuel all over. I shut the engine down before it cought itself on fire. I borrowed a code reader from the store and some slip joint pliers from the auto parts store. After clearing the codes and letting the engine cool a little, I tightened the connection for the low pressure line to the fuel pump. While I was doing that, I accidentally hit the small coolant line and snapped the all plastic barb from the top coolant line which caused the line to spray hot coolant up like a geyser all over the engine bay and myself.
Unfortunately, the auto parts store had to special order the part and I have to wait a week to get it. So I had to have it towed home.

Sorry to hear that but I'm glad you are getting to the bottom of this. These codes can be a blessing but if 1 code can be triggered by 10 different things it doesn't make life that much easier.
