I have a 2003 a4 1.8t (not quattro) and the scanner read output shaft speed sensor problem (po722 i think). Is it possible to replace just this sensor or is it ABSOLUTELY necessary to replace the TCM (module). I'm hearing both views so far. Also, if the module does need replacement, how long/safe it is to drive without replacing it? thanks!
