I'm having problems with my A3 1.9 TDIE, and its driving me crazy!!! Its started when moving at speed, it would jolt when accelerating until the ESP warning came on. This disappeared after the engine was shut off and it would run fine. Then it would cut out as you would bring the car to a halt or slow down from fast speed with the clutch engaged. Only occasionally, not everytime. In addition, when feathering the clutch in reverse it would cut out again. The engine would always start again. It has a FSH, last service about 1000miles ago. It was hooked up to diagnostics and nothing shows up. Fuel filters were changed and diesel conditioner added. No change. My mechanic is baffled as am I. Any ideas guys?
