I have a 2011 A3 TFSI that has a broken passenger side mirror glass. I have ordered three different ones, granted, not from Audi, but three different ones and all three have been too Tall, Top to bottom. When I hold it up reversed to the drivers side, its clear that it is too tall. Not by much, maybe 1/8" but enough that it will not fit in the housing. Width seems to be ok. Now, the fact that I've ordered three different ones and all three have had the same problem, I'm beginning to wonder if there is something I am missing? Its a S line, I don't know if that would make a difference, Would anyone have any ideas on what I can do from here? I asked the previous owner who had the car from new what happened to the mirror and he said it flew off one day and when he got a replacement, he broke it trying to put it in because it wouldnt fit right. Mirrors are the originals. Sounds like the same issue to me maybe? What gives??
