Default A3 Cabriolet Homelink

Has anyone had Homelink installed in their 2015 A3 Cabriolet - either buttons or mirror?

Just went thru this with my 2015 A3 Cab. Remedy. Removed metal clip from door opener. Mounted opener on front interior side on center console with VELCRO. Results --out of sight, easy to use-cost $3.

Default A3 Cab "homelink"

As greasykid said, my opener fits snugly in the font of the console. I only have to lift the lid and reach in to use it.

Wow, thanks for the suggestion. I would not have thought of using the underside of the console lid. Works great.

I mounted my opener in the forward part of the console. Read my previous post again. Do not have to open anything--just reach down & press button. It is hardly noticeable there. If you want opener completely out of sight then mount under the armrest.

Greasykid. Yours and Bullwinkes' console suggestion spawned the idea of my putting it under the front part of the console lid where you would raise the lid. There is a little dip there. My opener is small enough that it fits perfectly. Now all I do is click the opener as if I were going to raise the lid. Cool.

I'm too lazy to raise the lid. Whatever works.
