[/B] I have an A3, it will not start. I had somebody come out plug there computer in it and give me a coupple of codes, they are p1570 and p1654.

does anybody have any idea what they can mean or how much i can get these codes corrected for?

 

The first one (p1570) has to do with the immobilizer not letting the engine start. For some reason, its being triggered. Could be a faulty ecu, a worn key/ignition, or something from the car isn't original and its not matching the cars signal to start.

The second one (p1654) is "Recirculation Override Circuit Malfunction". I think that has to do with your coolant, but I'll let someone else verify that.


Btw, google or a search on here would have netted you both those answers with faster results. It's easier to figure out whats going wrong if you try basic stuff on your own first, and then others on here can chime in with things that aren't well known.
