Hi,
I've got a 1997 A3 1.6 manual gear and it's really badly misfiring.

It misfires in all gears including neutral and especially when you accelerate hard.

If I accelerate slow and careful it's ok but sometimes it just doesn't fire at all for a second or two.

I had this fixed about 3 years ago and now it's back. The guy that fixed it back then said it was "patter" but he could have been telling me anything he wanted.

I'm still driving the car though.
