Default A3, Nav Plus and Sirius

Hey all...first timer. I'm rolling the dice as to where to post this question but I thought this forum made sense. I'm shopping a CPO'06 2.0T that has Navigation Plus but by the listing doesn't mention the sat radio. Is it correct that the2006 A3 was pre-wired for it? Doeshaving the nav mean that the Sirius is ready to go and just requires activation? Thanks in advance...

Navigation won't matter. The car will still need the sirius receiver installed to get any signal. The head unit is capable of displaying and using the information which is what satellite ready designates. It is an expensive add on from the dealer, but there was a recent thread in the A3 section that discusses alternatives.

Cheers!
