not really sure on oil consumption. I have 16,000 miles, but paid in advance for the service check-ups, oil was changed at 5k and 15k. Everything was normal, or so I think. Looking at the Invoice for the 15k maintenance service I see 4.8 ZVP0000540, not sure if this is Oil or not, nothing else listed could be oil.

 

13000 on 06 DSG put in 1/2 quart at 7500 and since moving to a colder climate haven't added anything.

 

2006, 2.0T, 44500, 5000-7500 per quart.[:-]

My A3 has 17K miles and I've changed the oil as recommended. So far, no excessive oil consumption.
