Hello
I'm new here. It's geting cold last days and my radio sucks. When i'm trying to roll volume it gets mute and plays with max power. So i have to umount radio, to see what is inside. But how to do this? Concerto casette deck, audi A3 1998 year.

Regards,
Tonny

Hi
I've just had this problem and it's due to a fault in the way the "non-volatile EEPROM" chip in the unit works. The unit "wears out" atfer a while and won't allow volume adjustment. Other functions still work ok, usually. I bought a warrantied replacement off ebay for about 90 quid (Audi want £150), no problem now.
cheers
Ade
