A3 replace Rear Bulb
Please can someone help?
I have a 2005 A3 and am unable to work out how to replace the drivers side rear
light bulb. I have managed to pivot slightly the light cluster by removing the plastic
bolt located behind a small flap in the boot. But, thats all it does not free the whole unit.
I can not fadumanyway of getting the unit out without removing internal panels ?

RE: A3 replace Rear Bulb
Funnily enough, I did this about an hour ago.
Assuming you're in the US and the Sportback is similar to the 3 door...
Remove the screw completely then wiggle the cluster from side to side. It's attached by the screw (which you've removed) on one side and two studs on the other. With a bit of a tug the cluster comes away from the body.
This should be in your manual, it was in mine. Look under 'bulbs' in the index.
Good luck!
