It hurts to see pics like that. Yeah it's totalled. After those pics I've got to agree with everyone else re: we're all glad you were able to walk away with only soreness.

Wow, glad to hear that you made it through essentially unhurt save for bumps and bruises. Make certain the police report specifically mentions the large-diameter logs strewn in the roadway. Even better if publicity about this accident causes a witness to step forward to identify the trucking company from which the unsecured logs fell. Good luck with your recovery. Hopefully you get plenty of sleep and are taking Tylenol as a preventative measure for the upcoming muscle soreness! Hang in there.

dude....speechless. Very lucky you got out of that without being sent to a hospital. Seeing something like this really makes you stop and think about how serious driving is.

BTW, if you haven't already gone to see a doctor, make sure you do, just in case anything is wrong inside you that may not be apparent at first.

Glad you walked away from that wreck....... your car looked worse than the A3 that flew off the Ortega Hwy.

Were there other logs on the hwy? or was the log you hit the only one that was there at the time?

I'm guessing you canupgrade to the porshe that you always wanted.

 

Sadly no new A3 for me... Porsche? When did I say that? If I'm ever going to pay porsche $$$ I'd get an Ariel Atom.

I talked to my insurance company (AAA) yesterday and they'll give me an answer within 3 days. In the meantime I'm looking for other possible cars. Right now I narrowed it down to:
1) 2003 Honda s2k or 2007 s2k
2) Toyota FJ 4x4
3) Nissan Frontier or Toyota Tacoma(both 4x4 with 4doors)
4) 2007 civic si (I know... [:-] I'm hoping a test drive will kill my lust for one)
5) VW GTI (dont really want another turbo car but at leastsome of my modscan transfer to it)


Soo... question now is... which one would you allow in your monthly GTG? [:-]
