Advice for A3 Sound System
Hi all,
Am new here. Proud owner of a 2002 A3... love it.
One problem though - my battery died and I got the car jump started.
I can't seem to get the stereo / sound system working though. It is on SAFE mode and I can't seem to shift it. There's nothing in the car user manual about it. And I don't have a manual for the sound system.
In previous cars the sound system manual has had a code to input in situations like this but I will be stuck here.
Any ideas on what I can do?

In SAFE mode, you do need a 4 number code, which is usually in the manual. Best thing to do is phone Audi customer services, they should be able to provide you with the code, if you give them your vehicle reg. Or visit an Audi dealer, they should be able to find the code for you, and shouldn't charge you for it.
