Hi every body, ive just bought an audi a3 1.8t sport quattro 1999 v reg and im having a problem with my alarm going off whenever it feels like it after ive locked it. ive tried isolating the sensors and it still does it, can anyone help? i dont know much about audi alarms etc so if you can keep any answers simple that would be great, cheers

i'm also dont have much knowledge about alarm.
to make sure that your alarm is work. you can lock the door use alarm and then you can try open the door use the key. is the alarm works or only the alarm sound problem?

 

hi yes its the audi alarm, im not sure what you mean about trying the alarm, if you use the fob to lock the doors or the key, the alarm is still set both ways, if i lock the doors with the fob and the alarm sets, it will unset even if i open the doors with the key.
