i got my 08 A3 in late October and i dunt see any AUX input under the armrest...
But in the link below, a dude said that the new 08 models have an AUX port in them under the armrest, by the 12v outlets, which i dunt see in my car...
does anybody have the AUX built-in in your 08 models?

I have it. I think it is only in new Audi that were built after build week 48 which would be after October. My guess would be only cars that arrived at dealers around mid January or ones that were ordered November will have it.

 

niiiiice... dude i spent almost 300 bucks on that ipod integration kit which is crap... just because my car was built a couple months earlier than urs?? [:@] you think i can get the dealer install it for free?? i think not.... ha

 

FINALLY. It is a new age at Audi! Its about time they caught on. The AUX imput is the easiest/best sound quality way to listen to your iPOD. And it comes with the car now! Hopefully they will do this on the A4 and other models as well. Its about time.

maybe we should all make the stealerships install the AUX on 08 models for free... i mean whydid we get lessout ofthe same amountmoney we paid? ours are 08 models too! [:@]
