Anyone have experience with wheel spacers?
So, I read on another forum ( http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2940656) that wheel bearings seem to be another weak point on A3's.Crap [:@]...Now I'm concerned that the spacers will contribute to frequent bearing replacements.
So,tomodify my original question a bit...Anyone have experience with wheel spacers and/or wheel bearing problems?!

OK! Here's the spacer pics (sorry for the dirty car, I couldn't wait to get them on...typical kid at Christmas)!
To start out, I was really pleased with the spacer quality, appearance and the fit/finishon the vehicle. There was no installation issues and the whole process took less then an hour. And although it was not part of the installation procedure, I went ahead and put a dot of Locktight on each bolt prior to install.
As a recommended performance check, I'm suppose to remove the wheels after 60mi to re-check the torque settings (120Nm) of the bolts holding the spacer to the hub. However, as I am re-checkingthem, if I find the Locktight is holding and there isn't any adjustment needed I may pass on doing each wheel...
Another note, I put 20mm spacers on all 4 corners vs. my original plan to go with 20's on the fronts and 25's on the rears. In hind sight, I wish I stayed with the original plan...
So, with out further ado, here they are:

Nice pics A3Guy, as Chef asked, any difference in feel / cornering? Also, do you have any full car pics to see how it "fills out" the wells at more of a distance?
Congrats on the new toys!

Sorry guys, but since the install, if I haven't been busy with family/holiday things, it'sdone nothing but rain here in Central OH. [:@]
So, no real driving impressions (on dry roads) to reportor nice pic's to post yet.

You could just put the spacers on the rear, which would butch up the back end, giving you the look that you were after in the first place. Then sell the front spacers.
Wonder if there's any change in under/oversteer, particularly reducing understeer by making the rear have a wider stance.
I had spacers on my Miata for autocross, and it was hard to tell they were there. Mostly they're for looks.

Yeah, I think I have to agree with you, mostly for looks...Although you'd think with a wider stance, it should handle a little better. H&R's literature comments more on the vehicles looks with spacers rather then any handling improvements with them. That's OK, I like the look! And from all I've heard/read, the RR sway bar will handle the body roll issue...
Per jbrx7tt's request, here are a few more pics (the weather is finally nice and clear in OH!)
