Default audi a3 2004 alarm problem

Hello there, i am wondering if anyone can help me with my audi a3 2004,1 night last week i locked the car up at night and the alarm kept going off through the night. The first time it went off i unlocked the car and made sure that all the windows and doors were shut properly then locked the car up like normal then about 15 mins later it went back off again so then i unlocked it and locked it back up then the alarm went of again so i left it unlocked for the night ,The next day i had a diagnostics check on the whole system and it came back all clear i am wondering if anyone has had the same problem with theres and also 1 final point do anyone no where the siren is located to .
thanks Ryan

I have the same problem when I park my Audi in the sun and lock it - I read in one of the posts that the siren(s) are located on the sides of the radiator. If you figure it our pls let me know

Default alarm problem

hello there i have manged to sort out the alarm problem on my a3 it was the gasket in the rear wiper motor was leaking so when i used then rear washer the screen wash was going into the rear tailgate lock electrical plug on lock which caused corrosion made the alarm go off because it fault the boot was open so i went to audi and brought a new wiper motor and lock fitted it and seems to be ok apparently its a common fault thanks ryan

Having a similar issue with mine. Initially thought it was to do with the aftermarket I put in, but noticed last night that I was showing the boot being open, which of course it isn't. The rear wiper has been a bit intermittent the last couple of weeks as well so this would tie in quite nicely.

Thanks for the above info as it gives me an excellent starting point

Having exactly the same problem! this is on a 14 plate, would of thought by now that if it's a common fault it would be sorted by audi

Default Same problem here...

Same problem here. I got a A3 convertible 2.0TDS (reg 08) and don't have any wiper on the back screen but alarm going on an off every 15 minutes.
Just put a brand new battery thinking it was a signal to change it but still happening... Also removed the light on the boot as it might have been a signal that it stays on but nothing help.
I think the car is trying to say something is wrong but I cannot figure out what!
It seems it is fine when I leave the car unlocked but obviously not very handy !
Anybody got a solution ?
