I got a 2003 Audi A4 cabrio with an alarm system that likes to go off in the early hours of the morning even without the interior sensors on, making me very popular with the neighbours !

Audi garage claim to have looked at it but could not trace the fault.

I've got the following from a friend with VAG Com. However, thealarmhas gone off again today since the faults below were cleared and there are now no new faults showing in VAG COM which is strange - Any Ideas ??

Please help its driving us all crazy !

do you leave the roof down during night time?
Or is it closed up?

 

I leave the roof up and car locked (tried with or without interior sensors on and it stillgoes off). I thought it might be weather related but I suffer the same problem when garaged.

 

I had a similar issue with my door alarm sensors and a simmilar code 80-10 - Single-Wire Operation - Intermittent and the sensors needed to be replaced, after they got replaced no issues on one door but one kept going off for no reason untill all codes were cleared about 15 times!!! good luck man!! I honestly dont know beyond that point
