Hello! Can you please help me? I forgot the lights open and my car battery drained. When I recharged my battery, I saw my key not working.

I have tried many ways to sync the key but doesn't work.

Can anyone help me?

 

Is the car not starting, or is it just that the remote functions don't work?

If the car's not starting, try locking and unlocking the car five times with the remote function, at about a one second interval.

 

I can switch on my car and drive, but I cant use my key from outside, I can use my lock and unlock button.

This happened afer my battery drained one day. Now I have recharged but I can use my key from outside.

 

I've read what you wrote a few times, and it makes no sense.

But if you're saying you CAN'T use your remote functions, then there are a lot of threads on how to re-sync a key. Do a search and you'll find dozens of videos and instructions that should work (takes just seconds).

 

I have tried a several ways from different videos, but no solution yet.

The problem with the key came afer my car battery drained because I left my lights open. I recharged battery with another car.

You might need a VAGCOM programmer to re-enable the remote function, if it has been "glitched" off by the battery going dead.

Otherwise, the normal process of re-enabling a key by locking / unlocking the door and pushing the remote buttons should work.
