Default B-Pillar Rattles

I've got an '06 A3 with 12,000 miles on it. It has developed two distinct rattles coming from the b-pillar area on both sides of the car. Anyone else with this problem?

There are various discussions about a similar rattle as you describe on Mk5 GTI/GLI VW forums. Some said it was a indication of your driving style (going fast with lots of G's). Personally I hate rattles. I hope it just something simple like hardware in door frame that isn't properly secure with a lock washer.

I have 15k on my A3 and drive it to the limits with no rattle. Hope that the rattle doesn't show it's ugly face.

Cheers!

Go BEARS!!!

Thanks, John! Someone there said that keeping the seatbelts in the upper-most or lower-most positions stopped the rattle, I'll try that when I head to the gym in a few minutes. I'm convinced that it's got something to do with the seatbelts.

I'm hoping that ******* ******* of **** head quarterback pulls his head out of his *** and shapes up the rest of the season. Still hoping that this can be a Superbowl year.

Cheers!

Seatbelt adjustment didn't fix the problem, guess I'll have it looked at when I have it in for service next.
