Default Bose CD system

Hi ppl
Just got myself an A3 1.8T Quattro Sport (bit of a mouthful), stunning car, its a 2001 model. The only fault I can find with the car lies in the stereo system. It has the Audi Symphony system, with the BOSE upgrade. Sounds quality is amazing, but the red LCD display has a problem. It seems to cut out the bottom line of the text, hard to describe but when displaying the radio station name, the bottom of the letters/digits is cut off. Very odd. Anyone else have this problem? And how can I go about getting it sorted? Dont want to have to install a new display really, any ideas?
Thanx

That really sucks. Not much you can do but replace the screen. It will cost some change to have a tech pull the screen, get the replacement and solder it back in. You might do better looking for another head unit from the forum, or people who have upgraded their radios, or just purchase an aftermarket head unit yourself. I'm not sure how a new head unit ties into the older Bose systems, maybe a little research first. No real easy way out that I can see mate.

Good luck.
