Ive been shopping for a used A3 for about 3 mths now. Ive been looking for a dark gray, white, or blue color. Im considering a red now because its taking so long. Ive owned a red Miata years ago and the paint faded. Others have told me that this is common with red cars. Does Audi suffer the same issue?

 

I've had a Garnet Red Pearl 2006 A3 for four years and noticed no paint fading, even though I've only waxed it a few times and it lives outside (no garage).
