Car is a 2008 Audi A3 2.0T with DSG. Currently at 70,911km. Just had last service about two months ago. Today CEL came on. I checked using an Autel VAGSCANNER VAG305 unit which showed no codes. I then used VAG-COM 409.1 and this also showed no codes. The speed limiter has not kicked in. I cycled the ignition about 4 times and also the gas cap about 4 times. CEL is still on.

The dealers are closed until Monday at 0700 EDT but that's when I have to start driving back home ~700km.

Any ideas what this might be? I figure it might a cluster error, but that usually throws a code too.

Disconnect the battery for 30 seconds. That will clear the CEL. If it comes back on after that, try to rescan and see if anything comes up. If nothing still, all I can say is wait
