I thought about you Stryker, you evil evil man!LOL
I love the Brembo BBK and the forged wheels, very tight!!! The car is fully loaded with everything, including the remote start, mygig system, sunroof, and the leather seats have blue stitching to match the exterior color.
BTW, the Shelby is cool, but it doesn't have seating for three in the back which is a requirement in my household.
I haven't made the deal yet, as I still want to contact the insurance company and have a sleepless night thinking about it.

Yeah that stereo system they have in there is awesome my gig just loaded the whole ipod listing onto it, you can put pics screen saver etc. The power plant speeks for itself i'm getting 14 mpg way under what i was getting with the A3 but thats ok smiles per gallon.
Cheers!

If I had $42k to spend on a rear-wheel drive performace 4 door sedan, I'd be looking no further than the BMW 335i, or better yet, the 335xi. The latter has almost exactly the same MSRP, although I'm sure options could rapidly increase that. The BMW makes more power than it advertises, is more easily modified to make more power (software/firmware) and weighs nearly half a ton less. You can also get it with a 6 speed manual...and it's a BMW.
Well, I drove the big bad beast again today, and took the car home for a while. After a long discussion with the wife, we decided to wait until after we finish building the house. I've also decided not to get the Superbee, but just a black SRT-8. I figured that would attract less PoPo and I'm not really a big fan of the stick-on decal on the Superbee's and Daytona's.[:'(]
As far as the 335i goes, I like the car and the engine is sweet, but I need a 4-door car that can haul 3 kids and stuff. And the big reason for the 6.1L Hemi is my wife's love of the muscle car.
The SRT-8 can be had for about $34k-$35k, full loaded with all of the tuner goodies, leather seats, etc., which is much less than a comparably equiped Bimmer. You also don't get that big-*** growl from the Bimmer.

I suggest giving the SRT-8 a test drive if you haven't yet, it is truly a blast. The car spun very slightly and rocketed to 100mph after I took a turn, then I turned off the ESP for the next turn. Just the slightest blip of the throttle had the car screaming with the back end sliding out and the biggest ****-eating grin on my face!
I'm actually very impressed how well the ESP keeps the beast under control. You can literally light up the tires from a stop until everything melts off and you're down to metal. I LOVE IT!!! (at least until I have to replace those expensive tires)[:@]
Cheers!

Trust me chef no matter what people say you cant compare the 335 i to this beast, bavarians get put into their place immediately i dont care what they weigh 0-60 4.5 sec stock.
And yes the srt might be auto tranny but with the awd, and all that torque its going to be hard to beat, evo, wrx sti, especially from a dig.
Dont get me wrong germans make a great product, i loved my A3 but the only thing left for me was the turbo upgrade and that would only give me 300 hp.
So advantage darkside for me.

Yeah, when you put your right foot into that 6.1L engine, STOCK, it just brings the biggest grin to your face. That car is wicked fast!
BTW, I'll be selling my DP prior to leaving LA, but the rest will be after I'm in Texas. The coilovers will be sold with the car since I don't have the stock suspension, and I don't really want to spend the money on the labor. Sorry lavadrifter.

Good luck on the big American beast!
