Default Coolant warning when engine is cold

Does anybody who owns an A3 have this problem... My coolant light comes on for the first 30 seconds after I start the car when the engine is cold.

Shortly after the first 30 seconds, the beeping stops and light goes off. This is the only problem I have with no other symptoms.

I checked the coolant levels and they appear fine.

I was thinking that the level might be alittle low and the light goes off after the water/coolant expands when the engine warms up.

The dealer said not to worry about it last time I brought it in for service. I would assume that they would top off the fluids during the servicing and I still have this problem.

Again, thats the only issue. Im thinking of adding a little bit of some distilled H2O, but not to get the coolant/H20 mixture off.

Will update after I add the H20, just thought Id post to see if anybody else has this wierd problem.

Thanks

Yup, '08 A3. The tank looked fine and full to me. Once heated up the light went out. The sensor must be right at the line. I told the dealer and they added a little more coolant to the overflow tank. This stopped it.
