Drivers door will not lock on remote but will lock with key. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Can you post how you solved this? I have the same issue, the driver door does not lock with the remote BUT unlocks OK. Also it does not lock the door with the lock button on the inside... The only way it works is with the key from the outside. Anybody else have this issue? I have 2006 TFSI 2L

 

mine is like that...It has better chance of locking when the weather is warm. I thought it was just something that's stickly. But when I had the door card off once, there isn't a motor that moves back and forth like those old cars. probably a bad solenoid where the whole module needs replacing.
