Do you have a boost gauge, and if so, what are your boost spikes?

The best option if everything is running correctly is to go with a mechanical DV so you won't burst the rubber diaphram any longer. Currently Eurocode Tuning is the only one with an option on the market, but it runs off of a vacuum line. Forge is coming on the market soon with an electronic, mechanical valve, which might be a better option. I have the Ecode version and it works great, although the DV sound has changed some, and I've lost 1-2 lbs of boost at times.

Make sure that you are boosting correctly before changing to the mechanical DV. It would suck to apply a patch to a symptom, only to have the disease get worse and break something more valuable, like the turbo.

Cheers!

My boost will spike to 16-20lbs, depending on the gear and rpms. It will hold about 1-2psi lower than that. Ideal conditions in 6th gear starting at 2krpms WOT, thenit will spike to 20lbs and hold 18lbs until about 4krpms, then slowly tapper off. Of course, by the time the boost is tappering off in 6th gear, you're well into the triple digits.

The wreck wasn't too bad for the most part since the car is repairable and I'm walking and talking. I have some whiplash injuries, but otherwise all is going well. Hoping to have the car by the middle of this week.

Cheers!

Yeah, I asked them to put on the S3 front, but we'll see.

I have way too much wheel gap, but luckily, I have a set of Koni coilovers on the way. That picture is a little older anyway, so I'll post up a new and refreshed car soon.

Cheers!
