ECU upgrade
Hi All,
I am trying to decide which ECU upgrade I should make. My choices (I think)are APR, REVO and Neuspeed. (Are there others?)
APR requires the upgrade to be made directly on the ECU whereas the REVO and Neuspeed is upgraded via the OBDII port. Is this correct??
All seem to deliver about the same increases in HP and Torque (with minor variances) with the base upgrade, so I guess it would come down to $$$ and convenience. I would be interested in any thoughts you may have to assist me in this decision.
This is the first upgrade I am making and probably will not make another for six months or so.
Thanks for your help.

here we go again.......... try reading all the earlier posts re: this subject so we all don't have to repeat it 2000 times.......... all programs are good, REVO has got a more rough pull to it from what i heard and APR has a smoother one, REVO costs less than APR......... uh damn......... it's 1am.......... my mind isn't thinking right
Yes this subject has been murdered, but it's only the begining as audi sells more of these cars more newbies will be posting about wich mod to go with.
For the umpteenth time jk. GOAPR thats what i have.
Like my man Nam said check out some earlier posts about this there are a bunch and you'll get a better understanding on wich one to go with.

Thanks forthe replies. I took your suggestions and reviewed past postings on this subject which has had many, many inquiries over the past months. My conclusion: there is, actually, no definitive answer, right or wrong. Since all of these ECU upgradesdo essentially the same things, i.e. increase boost andadjust the fuel and spark settings, I've taken$$$, convenience and increased fuctionality into accountand am going with REVO. I like the 5 hour "testing" period they offer as well.
I'll let you know how things have gone. 'Til then......

Now we need to have this message pop up anytime somebody asks about a chip.
Cheers!
