Well I took it to the dealer and the tech guy was great, he is also a tuner. He found number of codes that were off, he asked me if it was tuned (as the former owner put an APR exhaust on it). I did not know (have not driven any other A3's) although I really feel like it has some kick to it, however I am not certain it is equal to an extra 50HP like the APR tuning should do. He suggested I submit my VIN to APR to see if it is in the database. He was really cool too and said if it was tuned, as long as customers were front with him he would have no problem doing warranty work. He also suggested a good tuner up in Lebanon if I wanted to do more to the car (which I eventually will!)

Anyway, he said he fixed the light and I told him I would check to see if APR came back with anything. I love the power, perhaps I have a little extra.... Jon

I recently had my check engine light come on around 15,000 miles, and when I brought it in for the 15,000 mile service, they found a bad oxygen sensor. Got it fixed under warranty though, and all is good!

Make sure you trun your gas cap and hear at least 3 clicks! Sounds stupid, but this does it to me if I forget when filing. Dealer warned me of this when I bought it ....light should go out after a day or two.
