Hi guys, management light came on two weeks ago then last week went out, this week came back on, bought a canvw/u281 to check it out. Plugged in and in engine menu, and abs says no codes but a/t and SRS says linking error. The management light is still on. Can anybody throw some light on the problem for me please.

 

Without a proper readout no one will be able to help. I know a real diagnostic cable like the one from Rosstech is not cheap but personally I think it's worth the money and provides codes you can work with.
Also once you have codes or a trouble description you should include what car you have (mode, year, engine, transmission, etc).
