does anybody no if the gearboxes with different codes but from the same engine code will fit. i have an a3 bkd engine i need a huq gearbox. what i have found is there is a lot of gearboxes fitted to audis all models there are gearboxes that bolt to the same engine but have different codes but are the same speeds like 6 speed. i don't get how a box from the same engine front drive both 6 speeds could not be fitted. does anybody no if they can. i can get a box not far from me its off the same engine same 6 speed even same model a3 but its code is different.
