Hi guys, I was hoping you could help me with a few details about the Audi A3 front speakers and head unit set up.

I have an Audi A3 1.6 litre 3 door hatchback - March 2004. I have had it for about 4 months now and am keen to put some new front speakers & head unit in.

I am pretty sure my A3 is the most basic model as it has no 'luxury' features and still has a tape player in the head unit! (it does have a 6 cd player in the glove box though).

Where I need help is I am not sure if the car is half amplified, half amplified ISO etc (or even a better setup although unlikely) because I will need a wiring harness & facia adaptors so keen to buy the correct ones. I know the information I have provided is very limited (I can upload some images if that would help?) but I was wondering if anybody would have a best guess as to what the most basic A3 model (2003-current) would have?

One final question I have is (and sorry you must get this a lot) but what size are the front speakers? I was led to believe that they are 16.5cm but the link below for the speaker plates states that the back are 16.5cm and the front are 13cm. All other info online is very inconsistent also.
