Default Headliner Removal Help

I am looking to replace the rear bow for the sunshade as to get a functional latch again. It appears I have to drop the headliner to do that. I have a 2006 A3 and need help on how to go about lowering the headliner to replace the sunshade bow support. Does anyone have any service bulletins or any information that can help me in my pursuits?

Any other help? I can't believe there isn't anyone out there who's had to fix their rear sunshade.

Thumbs up Sunshade

I had to replace the front--- had the dealer do it as it was beyond my skill and I didn't want to possible mess with any airbags on the sides. Some advice if you go the dealer route, buy the replacement before you go to the dealer. My dealer replaced mine with a beige latch piece (like I wouldn't notice with black interior and silver headliner. They eventually replaced it, but that was a pain.

I got the part myself and saved a lot of money. I want to avoid the dealer on this one, because they want just over $500 for the labor alone.

My front latch broke and I bought a new bow from dealer. It came with picture instructions but I was concerned that I might not do it correctly and the screen would completely roll up without the bow attached. Will probably have dealer do it on next service. Let me know if you want a copy of the front bow instructions.

I actually found out that I can do the rear the same as the front which was easy.
