I think they technically consider it a Sport Wagon in the US. If that's better?

No smiling today. I'm supposed to pick it up tomorrow, again. I'm hopeful, but we'll see.
I have to work very early in the morning, so I will get off early and hope my car is done. Then...a long, long, long drive to enjoy my ride. That is, after I stop and top her off with 100 octane. Mybaby deserves the best!
Cheers!
Are you in withdrawal yet???
Adding a little 100 octane in your morning kellogs????
I would definitely check the mileage on your car when you get it back, are you sure they do not take it for joyrides on the side?!?!?!........ I would…..

Raslion, Chef, definitely an American thing, this taps into your subconscious and your origins with the wagon, the trail going West, the horse buggies, etc. Wagon just sounds lame. Calling it sport just does not do make it so…

I got APR chip stage 1, and a Neuspeed intake. He initiated the whole, it got to be his ego.

Iwas driving home with my uncle at about 3am..I was cruising at 80 and he was driving slow, i'll say about 70 or 75, so of course I pass at some end. I bet he was not happy knowing the fact A silver A3 with Euro plate just passed him. He came up to me, and thanks to my uncle, he said, go for it, so we gunned, At that time, I thought it was just another A4, not a S4.

So after he took off and has 4 cars mile ahead of me, thats when I saw the badge..I was dumb founded. I looked at the speedometer, I was already going 130 and up and he's so far ahead....shoot, it has to be over 160, and thats when I went back to my normal speed.

Just my luck!

You hit the nail right on the head... what are you a psychologist? Hehe. Anyways when I here the term "Station Wagon" I think of some old brown and rusted 1970s/80s piece of crap family car. Obviously the Audi A3 is the exact opposite.

This is from dictionary.com for Wagon:

1.any of various kinds of four-wheeled vehicles designed to be pulled or having its own motor and ranging from a child's toy to a commercial vehicle for the transport of heavy loads, delivery, etc.

Transporting heavy loads and delivering things? Forget it. They shouldnt be calling the A3 a sports "wagon" at all. Lets just stick to Sportback or hatchback
