Default Installing Factory Xenons?

Is there a source for factory Xenons? If not, is there an aftermarket Xenon that would work with the automatic headlights in the A3 without having any lack of lighting/saftey when compared with the stock halogens?

Thanks for your time.

Hi

If you want everything to be 100% factory you probably better trading in your car. However, I think you can do the conversion using factory + aftermarket parts. For example,
get the Euro housings from http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/...egory=Lighting and then buy the bulbs and ballasts online. That should bring you to a total of $1500.

Now fitment and the plug and playness of the conversion kit will work. However, I dont know if the audi electrical system will be able to fire up the HID lights. There is someone from vwvortex who is supposedly taking this route. If he is successful I'm going to jump on it too.

European OEM parts use D1S bulbs, tough match with an aftermarket system.
