Default iPod option?

I have the $h!tty OEM iPod setup on the concert II... and was curious if anyone could tell me if this would be able to hardwire this:

http://www.amazon.com/Harman-DP-1US-...00&sr=1-18

I sure hope so!!

PS - Thats my dog in my signature... not my car, I have the setup without the Nav or Bose on a 2007 A3 2.0t.

Thanks for anyone's help!

The Audi head unit does not directly support a line-in, you would have to get an adapter that offers a 3.5mm line-in jack -- Check Grom or Dice. Otherwise, you could get a hardwired FM modulator, but it will not sound as good as a direct line-in and all of the necessary antenna adaptors would be a pain in the ***.

Have you seen the Drive + Play 2?

This new Alpine unit also looks sweet -- displays your album art too! Amazon doesn't have it yet though...

What do you mean "you would have to get an adapter that offers a 3.5mm line-in jack" can I hook up a 3.5mm jack direct into the HU?

You can't hook a 3.5mm line directly into the head unit, but you can get an adapter that provides a 3.5mm input. The adapter would connect to your head unit just like an iPod integration kit. (Example: http://www.gromaudio.com/aux.html) Otherwise, you can use the built in FM modulator (in the Drive+Play) but the sound will not be so great.

I've never seen the Guide+Play before, that thing is pretty sweet!
