Default Just got APR chip

hello everyone, i just got my car chipped with APR (they have a special holiday promotion right now). the difference is incredible. i have one question. I was test driving it with the gear in manual shift mode. i stepped on the gas hard on 1st gear but forgot to shift (probably was too excited). I think i heard some noise like "plak plak plak". then i quickly shifted. Afterwards it was ok. Is it possible that i can break something not shifting in shift mode?

Im also interested in an intake next. But for about 300 dollars for about 10HP, is that worth it? Why do you guys buy it?

You were bouncing the engine off the rev limiter. It comes up a lot quicker now, huh??? The limiter is there to protect you from blowing up your engine.

I have the intake and can notice a significant improvement in the performance, and sound. Get used to the chip for a while then you might be looking for more. It's an illness that only the next mod can cure, that is, for a while.

Cheers!

Great question. I don't think we have planned the next GTG, although the general rule of thumb is the last Sunday of the month at 11am at the Spectrum in Irvine. We aren't having another in December, so January would be the next time.

I look forward to meeting you.

Cheers!
