I was at Rockville Porsche and Audi in Marylandtoday and spoke with the manager about the possibility of AWD in the 08 2.0 A3. He looked up on his order sheet for 08 models and said it would not be available according to his information. He has 3 07 A3's selling at invoice, according to him. A red basic ( sky & CD ) for $25,620 ; a black basic( sky & CD ) for $24,120 and a white automatic with some options for $27,211. I borrowed the black one some time ago and stomped it so maybe that's the price discrepancy, who knows. Any thoughts on these prices?Anyway, I don't know any details whatsoever about these cars so please don't request any information about them from me. Call 301 881 0900 and ask for Steve Prescott if you wish. I've got to say, the red paint looked so stunning on that showroom floor, you could imagine it matched a Ducati or Ferrari. Nothing new. AoA did mention the possbility on the 09 model (in 08), but nothing official.

 

Criswell of Annapolis has about six 07's with a bunch of diffrent packages and option combos I just got my A3 from them about two or three weeks ago, they also gave me the invoice pricing. They are a great dealership and we had a mix up long story short they said I got a A3 with cold weather but it turns out it didnt have it so i took it in the next business day and they were super nice about it and even took an extra thousand off the bottom line price and gave me an ipod adapter. So i suggest if you can make the drive going to criswell audi in annapolis on west street and talking to Justin Woodworth. As far as those prices go thoughthey lookgood. I must warn you though they don't have any reds on lot, at least not last time i was there. Good luck with your decision!
