Making the cig lighter power off with the car
Has anyone done this? I would like to re-wire the cig lighter so that it turns off when I turn the ignition off, but I'm really not sure where to begin.
I think I could find the power wire going to the cig lighter and move it to another fuse. I'm not sure if I can do just the cig lighter and not the 12v.
I have a 2006 3.2 A3 if that makes any difference?
