That can be a wide range of problems - from your gas cap not being tightened, to a worn cam lobe/ fuel pump drive, to your car needing software updates. Most common is the intake manifold flap malfunction.
At any rate, you need to get it to a dealer (or a shop that has a Vag Com), get the codes read and reset, see what's up. No urgency if the car has oil, water, and runs fine, but best get it done (mines been lit up for a month - 3rd time).

I had both those problems the lobe and flap motor they had to replace the whole cam shaft as well.. but yes it can be for many different reasons if you don't want to go back to the dealer try and find a place or mechanic that has the ability to read the code and see what it is.

Default Thanks

Thanks Everyone,

Took it in today and yes I was still under warranty, I had an over-run cut off valve that was faulty and they also had 2 recall items that they performed on my car.

Car is running great.

Thanks again,

Mary
