Hi All,

I have just purchased a 1999 A3 1.8 Sport (non-turbo) for the good lady wibers, however the vent that clears the windscreen appears to be stuck closed.

The car is fitted with the electronic climate control and when you press the button with the little windscreen icon on it, nothing happens apart from the fans go full power like they should but no air comes out of the vent.

All of the other vents work perfectly well so I am thinking it could be the little servo motor that controls the flap for the screen vent.

I have taken the glove box out but it is that crammed, I can't locate these motors.

I know others have posted this issue with other Audi models but not the A3.

Can anyone please help??
