Hello Everyone. I've been eying an Audi now for a while and got my first glance of an A3 this past weekend up in Tahoe. And needless to say I love its look. So I am going to go test drive one tomorrow. But before i go i just wanted to know what to expect in terms of driver side space. Being that I am 6ft 4in 190lbs and i am in need of a good sized cabin. If it is a little tight I can deal but i was just wondering if anyone had the same problem. Thanks

Brad

You shouldn't have any problem, 5ft 11in here, and my seat can go back another 2in at least. The steering wheel is telescopic and adjustable.

Good Luck,

Scott

6'2 and 200 here and I have plenty of space to move my seat back more, and with the telescoping steering wheel I can sit in the perfect position. Don't even have head room problems. My buddy who is 6'6 drove it and I told him to adjust everything he needed and once he was done he was very impressed that he fit and didn't have the knees on the side of the sterring wheel problem.
The only problem with being 6' + is the person behind you needs to be short or a child.

I'm 6'3", about 200lbs and i have no problem fitting in the car. The amount of head room is actually amazing for the size car, i used to drive a Lexus SC400 and my head would rub against the ceiling, but with the A3 I feel like there is a lot of extra room. I've had a total of 5 people in the car, and while it's tight if I move my seat up it's definitely doable for a short trip.

Well I went for a test drive today and loved it. It has a lot more room than I expected it to which was a surprise. The A3 had a great interior and was much quicker than want I am used to. Now to find the exact one I want. I drove one with the open sky system today and didnt like that at all. I think the solid top makes the car look better imo. Questions now. Is the s-line worth it? And are there any upgrades that I should have now that i would most likely regret not getting? Thanks.

Here in the great white north the S-Line is a must. The package includes the leather sport seats, S-Line front bumper, better steering wheel, aluminum interior trim, front fog lights, etc. It was the seats that sold me. The S-Line suspension is a good compromise between handling and a smooth ride. One option that I have never before purchased, but am glad I did, is apower seat.

Have fun!
