Hi All,
I have been having some trouble with my 2000 Audi A3 1.9TDI (sport).

Due to a broken leg the car has not moved for over 4 months, so changed the battery as my old one was dead.

Now the thing wont start, well it does for about a second then dies, please see faults below;

No Key symbol on dash
No mileage
No service indicator
Glow plug light flashes
Petrol Gauge does not move
Light symbol is constantly on

I have tried all the main earth wires;

Behind the sub
Under the battery
Behind the steering colum
Left hand side kick panel

These have all been cleaned, and it did start (including everything on the dash coming back on), ran well until a hill then went into limp mode.

Came home tried a few things, left it half an hour and the battery was dead, back to the same symtoms as above.

Can anyone please help?????????????????????
