Why A3 2.0T FWD ------ gas matters as does pricing! I'll never use Quattro out here (have Landcruiser), any faster of a car and I'll be on the side of the road signing slips from Patrol. Looking forward to hearing what others in US have paid.

 

out of curiocity, what is your reasoning to get the A3 instead of the A4 advant?

Cash, gas mileage, and DSG.. equally equipped it's about $5000.00 difference. Gotta have DSG!

 

I cancelled it.. too much thinking about the 3.2 with Quattro. Would hate to be envious. Also considering 03 Allroad.

 

For the A4, the price difference between the 2.0t quattro and 3.2 quattro is nearly $5k. If this is what's to be expected with the A3, I'd skip the 3.2 quattro... That much $ kind of defeats the purpose of the A3 in my opinion.

I'd get a 2.0t fwd, chip it, and be done
