Possible A3 Lemon or Crooked Garage?
Bought the car 4 years ago and it was a great car until the past 6 months. 2015 A3 2.0 Quattro with 60,000 miles. First it needed a battery change which seemed normal until it ended up costing nearly $650. Very expensive yet normal for an Audi of this age. Immediately following that trip to the garage, the car's electrical system went haywire and needed a sensor in one of the rear wheels for another $500. Soon after(45 days), the car flashed warnings about overheating and turned out to have a leaky water pump. Full replacement of the plastic pump and the reservoir ran another $1500. I prayed I was done but no.... The actuator motor controlled by the vent selection switches went bad within a week of getting the car back so after another $580, we're wondering if we've got a lemon facing a line of upcoming planned obsolescence repairs, a crooked garage or just a little bad luck. What are your thoughts as an experienced Audi owner?
