Default problems! please help!

ive just bought an a3 and got a problem already! when i shut the doors, they dont shut properly they both seem to bounce open abit, then you have to either pull them shut from the inside or push them shut properly from the outside. does any one know why this is? also, the central locking doesnt work from the drivers side?

any advice would be appreciated.

thanks
Todd

I think it wise to check if the car has been in an accident

Try it with a window open - it could be that it's just the air pressure inside the car causing the doors not to shut properly. I tend to find this happens a lot with VWs/Audis because they're made well enough to be semi-airtight. If so just close them a bit harder.

Obviously if you still get the problem with a window open, it's probably more serious so head for a dealer.
