Not the best idea. A bov vents metered air which the audis do not like, so the engine will end up running richer/less power because it still adds the fuel for that air that is bled. If you want more sound I suggest a more open intake and a diverter valve from Forge that vents back into the intake past the meter.

Or one of these.

What is the difference between Sound Type I and Sound Type II? I hear no difference.

I have absolutely no idea, I was just being an ***. I think it said something about changing the timbre of the sound.

You cannot install a BOV unless you are going to completely change the engine management system so that it uses a calculated air intake system like a speed density instead of the hotwire measurement that is in place now (I think).

You can get a diverter valve and put an open intake on the car, you will still hear some of the Psh noise.

I've got the forge adj. bov. No problems so far engine runs smooth and fast.
Say you do get a change in engine behavior, close the vent all the way and your back to your stock set up.

You know, I can hear the stock diverter valve a little bit when I have the windows open. I bet with a Forge diverter and an aftermarket (less restrictive) intake you could hear it pretty well. It still would not be annoyinglyg loud, but it would probably sound decent. Anyone who has a similar setup care to chime in on this thought? Chef?
