Rookie Wheel Question '05 S4 vs '08 A3
My wife and I had a 2005 S4 (it was hers). Very bad mistake (her) selling it last year!!! We're now in the market for the A3 '08, maybe '09 in Sept. So, we have some great 19" Mayas from the S4 and want to put those on our future A3. Im pretty sure they have the same 5x112 pattern. But I noticed the offset seems to be around 30-35 for the S4 wheels, and 38-50 for A3. Im not really sure what the offset is on the Mayas- thats my problem. Think we'll have any issues making the Mayas fit cleanly?
Thanks for your help!

The offset (ET)is probably marked on the inside of the wheels. The A3 offset is typically 45-56mm.
I'd say that an ET less then 40mm on an 8" wide wheelvery likelycause rubbing problems.
You'll definitely like the improvement in gas mileage and probably much better insurance rates with an A3.
